Hey, guys – it’s Corey.
So, this week Amanda has been out of town so, I will be compiling this week’s Friday Finds. Today, we are visiting Rochestor, NY for Jenny. I found several good pieces especially those that might need a little love. I do enjoy fixing things as you will see from this weeks finds.
This first one looks like it needs a good cleaning, but other than that I think it would make a great coffee table. It has plenty of room for blankets and board games (you know, the important things).
Now this one I would definitely paint a fun color although I am sure Amanda would rather paint it white. I love the look of it and I wouldn’t mind having all of Amanda’s magazines off of the coffee table.
Now this one is already finished but for that price you can always change things. I love that it is on wheels! Something this “finished” would be like $150 in Austin so I am jealous of the prices. There is a fad on Craigslist where people find great pieces, do terrible things to them, and then expect to sell them for more. I get really annoyed by this.
Now Amanda and I currently have 3 wingback chairs in our house that desperately need to be reupholstered, but I am a sucker for a great deal on a wingback.
Once again I would obviously change everything about these tables but for $75 for the pair it is a great deal!
Okay, these last two are definitely looking worse for the wear, but with a little love they could all be statement pieces. And for $15, how can you pass this up? You could easily just repair them and recoup all costs.
I really like these chairs and there is actually another in the set. Thats right FIVE chairs for $20 bucks is ridiculous.
Well, I had fun visiting Rochester, NY. Hope you all enjoyed our thrifting trip. What would you do with this week’s Finds?
