Once Corey and I got the new nightstands into our bedroom, we quickly realized that the old lamps would have to go. Now.
They were looking kind of awful.
Luckily, my husband has a bit of a genius streak, and he knew exactly how to solve our problem. He ran into the other room and grabbed our Goodwill lamps from oh so long ago. They were mis-matched since they’d been living in different rooms ever since we got them, but that’s a quick fix, no?
We narrowed down our color choices pretty quickly, but then we realized we were at a bit of a stalemate. We can’t decide. At all.
And that’s where you come in. We’ve got three options – we already painted two of the options on the two lamps, and we grabbed something from around the house to represent the third. We want your votes, because we can’t make this decision alone!
A bit of information you may need to make your choice: at some point in the (hopefully near) future, our bed will be painted white and re-upholstered in a cream colored tweed-y fabric. So the wood tones that are currently right next to the lamps won’t be there soon. Got it? Okay, let’s get started.
Option One – Purple:
Option Two – Silver:
Option Three – Yellow:
*Note: this is not actually a lamp, just a candleholder with the lampshade placed on it.
Corey and I each have our own preference, but I’ll leave that out of this for now – I want to know what YOU think!
