  1. Do you remember where the doll heads were in Round Top?
    Thanks!

    1. We only visited one section of the festival – it was the biggest one aside from the barn/main area. It was across the street from a large red building with food and seating. Hope that helps! The place is giant, so even if you don’t find what we saw last time, I’m sure you’ll find what you’re looking for!

  2. Thank you for the price! Hmmm, $600. And all I had to pay was thousands and thousands for the land. LOL. I am still so tickled about seeing your post. Thanks again!

  3. OH. MY. GOD. A friend sent me your post because I POSTED YESTERDAY ABOUT MY A. & M. C. DINING HALL TABLE!!! http://thetexaswoman.blogspot.com/2011/05/tote-and-table.html I couldn’t believe it! You’ve got to tell me how much they wanted for that table. Please. Please. I’m begging here. Let me tell you that table grows bigger and bigger when you put it in your house. It is huge! I appreciate the information you gave about the table you saw. From the pictures you picked the best field to shop in – The Bar W. Great finds! Great venders! Nasty baby heads!

    1. Oh, your table is so gorgeous! I’m jealous! They were asking $600 for the table, and it looked exactly like yours! If you ever get sick of your table and want to sell it, you know who to contact! 😉

  4. You mean, you DON’T want a stuffed wolf in your living room?? Or, you know.. a baby Jesus in a coffin(?!?!)?

I seriously love those window frames with the deer silhouette in the background. I have no idea what I would do with them.. but they’re great! Can’t wait to see what you do with the fan 🙂

  5. I have never been to an antique fair, but after reading this post i need to find one because it looks like so much fun!
You and Corey are so adorable…love your blog!!

  6. OH MY GOSH! I can’t believe that someone had an old table from Sbisa!!! I would pretty much to ANYTHING to have that table! That’s amazing! The fair looks like tons of fun! I bet it was really overwhelming though! I’m glad y’all had fun! 🙂

  7. AHHHH I was going to go but then I had a work event that I had to go to instead!! I AM going next time. October you say? I’m in! I am kicking myself for not going. GRRR.

    1. We should meet up for lunch or something if you go in October! 🙂 It’s a total blast!

  8. Hokay…so that table of doll heads and the baby Jesus in the glass coffin sufficiently creeped me out for today. But! It sounds like you found some awesome things! I’m sitting at my desk drooling at the first hutch you posted….it’s EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for for my own dining room!

  9. You and Corey are the cutest. Seriously. And, I may have a tiny crush on your hubby, just don’t tell on me. K?

Now that I have that out in the open, i don’t even know what to say about the creepy dolls and clown paintings except ohmygawd nightmares.

    1. I totally don’t blame you – he’s a cutie!

  10. AHHHHhahahaha omg the DOLL HEADS!! That’s suuuper creepy. I’m so sad that the A&M table was out of your budget–that would have been a seriously cool table to have in your house!

I’m so intrigued by fairs like this–I would love to go! It was a good idea to set a limit on yourselves beforehand though–very very smart! Usually Mike and I will have very different ideas of how much we want to spend when we do stuff like that.

  11. WOW there are seriously so many things that looked so amazing at the fair! I’m with you—that wood table with the huge slab of wood would be what I would want so badly! And it definitely looks worth the price (which unfortunately is WAY WAY more than we can afford—as I look at our $90 coffee table that works just fine…).

Can’t wait to see what you got/what you did with it!

  12. OMG OMG a table of doll heads. Yep, I’ll have nightmares now. Thanks!

I WANT that vintage dining set. I don’t care if it doesn’t match anything in my house and if I already have two dining room tables, I NEED it.
