How to Declutter  Your Home 

Feeling overwhelmed by clutter in your home? Here are some tips and tricks for how to get started decluttering around the house.

Why Declutter? 

Studies have clearly shown clutter increases stress levels. Decluttering is good for your stress, and helps keep your house cleaner! 

A Rule of Thumb... – If you don’t use it… – And you don’t love looking at it… – And it doesn’t add any value to your life or home… You should let it go!

Create a checklist

A decluttering checklist is a really simple and easy way to approach this and keep track of progress.

Learn to let go

It can feel bad to let go of things you spent money on. But, if it's not serving you anymore, there's no reason to keep it around!

Focus on one thing...

Remember that decluttering, deep cleaning, and organizing are three separate things. Just work on one at a time!

Start Easy

Begin by making piles of the obvious things to get rid of. Trash, broken things, or things you're READY to let go of.
