DIY PROPAGATION STATION

A propagation station is a really beautiful and simple way to store plant clippings that you're trying to propagate. Here's a quick tutorial for how to make one!

Propagation Stations

Gather Materials

1. Scrap wood (a 2x4 is great) 2. 50ml test tubes  3. A drill press (or hand drill) with a 1" Forstner bit. All materials linked below!

Cut wood to size

Mine is 4" tall by 13" wide.  However, you can adjust the size to whatever you like!

Drill Holes

Drill 1" holes for your test tubes using a drill press or your regular handheld drill.  Drill each hole about 3-4" into the wood.

Add Angle (Optional)

If desired, you can use your table saw to cut a 30 degree angle at the top of the propagation station for an added detail.

Assemble and Propagate

Add the test tubes to your propagation station, then add your plant clippings!
