This is a really simple project for your home that you'll cherish forever! It's the perfect way to track your children's growth.

Sand & Stain Wood

Start by sanding and staining a 1x8 piece of wood - we used pine, but anything will work here.

Add Pattern

You can add a chevron pattern to your stain by taping off the pattern and adding a second coat of stain.

Paint Lines

Add lines along the side of the wood to indicate inches and feet, similar to a tape measure or ruler.

Add Numbers

Next, trace and paint the numbers onto your growth chart.  Swipe up for more details about this step!

Hang it up!

Finally, hang the growth chart up (note: be sure to take into account the height you're hanging it from when you paint the numbers on it).
