DIY GEOMETRIC ACCENT WALL

To create a geometric accent wall, you'll start by planning out your pattern, measuring, and finding the center of your wall.

Measure & Plan

Use a piece of string and an angle finder to determine how to cut your wood so it fits in one corner and crosses to the other.

Determine Angles

Install a large X on the wall with 1x3 pre-primed wood, making sure to use the angles you found for each of the four corners.

Cut + Install X

After installing the large X, add smaller V-shapes in each quadrant of the X. More details on this can be found in the post!

Add smaller "V's"

Now, you're ready to patch any nail holes, caulk all of the edges, and paint the wall!
