DIY THANKFUL TREE

What is a Thankful tree?

A thankful tree is a Thanksgiving tradition, where you put a piece of paper with something you're thankful for onto a small tree every day throughout November.

1

This thankful tree was created with an Inventables X-Carve, which is a CNC router.

2

You could also cut a simpler tree out using a jigsaw or a bandsaw. But, an X-Carve is a great tool to have!

3

Cut out two tree shapes, with notches on opposite sides so it can fit together and stand up.

4

Sand the edges of the branches and the face of the trees to remove any rough edges.

5

Paint, stain, or oil the two tree pieces to achieve your desired look!

6

Cut out (or purchase) some small leaves, and add a string so they can be hung on your tree.

7

Each day throughout November, write something you're thankful for on a leaf and add to your tree!
