How to Make DIY Cornhole Boards

Looking for a fun and easy way to get your family playing outside in the backyard?  These DIY cornhole boards are simple to build and your family will LOVE them!

Start by building a 24" by 48" base out of 2x4 pressure-treated lumber or cedar.

Create bases

Attach a half sheet of 1/2" plywood to each base. Use a 6" hole saw to drill a hole 9" from the top and centered on the board.

Add top + drill hole

Cut two pieces of 2x4 lumber to to 12". Cut a rounded edge on one side, cut the other side at a 30-degree angle.

Create legs

Drill a hole in each leg and on the sides of the bases where you want the legs to go. Attach the legs using carriage bolts and nuts.

Paint your desired color or pattern on the cornhole board, and add finishing touches!
