2025 Father’s Day Gift Guide
Looking for a Father’s Day gift guide for 2025? Look no further – I’ve got you covered!
Father’s Day definitely snuck up on me this year – I sat down to write this post and realized it’s less than a week away. Whoops!
Thankfully, I’m a big believer that you don’t need a ton of lead time to make a day really special for someone. When it comes to Mother’s Day and Father’s Day in our house, Corey and I typically get each other a small gift (like a book or a new t-shirt) and then plan a day all around things we love.
It’s always so fun to get to spoil Corey a little bit – he works so hard for our family and is always very quick to put everyone else before himself.
I’ve gotten a little creative in the past for Father’s Day for Corey. One year I gave him envelopes to open all week long with little activities and treats. I always have the boys make a video for him answering some questions about him and sharing some sweet words. It’s just so much fun to shower him with love, whether we do a physical gift or not.
I’ve been doing lots of browsing and brainstorming lately, so I pulled together a list of ideas for any father figure in your life. Whether your shopping for a partner, a dad, a grandfather, or just a dad you know and love, hopefully you’ll find a good option!
Father’s Day Gift Ideas
- Lefty Righty Tape Measure – This is my favorite tape measure, and I don’t know a dad who wouldn’t love having one.
- Dad Joke Button – More than fifty groan-inducing jokes at the push of a button! Dad’s gonna be thrilled.
- Contour Gauge Tool – Basically any DIYer could use one of these. It’s perfect for unique or challenging cuts and it’s been on my “need to buy” list for a long time!
- Cordless Electric Screwdriver: He’ll be so happy to have this sitting in his tool chest. And so will anyone who lives with him – these little things are so handy.
- Handheld Massage Gun – It’s super affordable, works great (we have one!), and he can spend all weekend making the kids give him massages.
- Cozy House Shoes – I don’t know a grown-up who doesn’t love a good pair of house shoes, and these really just scream “dad” to me.
- Wireless Meat Thermometer – Corey lives and dies by his meat thermometer. It’s even more convenient when it connects to your phone!
- Eye Massage Mask – I got this for Corey a few years ago, and he loves it. It’s so great if you’ve got a headache or just want a super relaxing nap. I’ve stolen it a time or two and it’s so incredibly relaxing.
- Extendable Magnetic Flashlight – Someone got this for all the dudes in our family one Christmas and they all loved them! We use ours all the time.
- What I Love About Dad Book – It will make any dad’s year to get this booked filled out by his kids.
- Ergonomic Pillow – I haven’t tried this thing but I hear nothing but rave reviews about it, and I don’t think there’s a dad alive who isn’t a fan of a good night’s sleep.
- Back Massage Seat Cushion – Plop it in his favorite chair in the house, turn on a good movie or documentary, and tell him to close his eyes for a nice little nap. It’ll be the best Father’s Day gift ever.
- Folding Hand Truck – We got one of these a few months back and it’s so handy to have around. He’ll probably use it even more than you expect!
- Mini Projector – Most of the dads I know love trying out new gadgets and technology. Corey is always talking about getting a projector for our house, and I think he’d love this little portable one!
- Accupressure Mat – I got this for myself a while back when I was having some back pain and holy cow it works! Perfect for the dad who carries a lot of tension!
- Battery Daddy – In our house, dad’s in charge of all things batteries. He loves this battery organizer and we keep batteries stocked way more consistently now that we have it!
- Play Nine Card Game – This is a family favorite, and I think a card game is always a great gift idea! It’s easy to learn, quick to play, and tons of fun.
- JBL Clip Speaker – Is it just the men in my life, or are they all obsessed with bluetooth speakers?
- Stanley Quencher – Dudes love to make fun of us for our love of Stanleys, but most of the dads in my life love theirs just as much as I love mine.
- A Nice Baseball Cap – Dad’s can’t have too many baseball caps. This one is a classic brand that he’ll wear all the time.
- A stylish wood frame + a picture of him with the kids – Because, that’s really all he wants anyways.
Other Father’s Day Ideas
Need some other thoughts for how to make dad feel special? Here are a few other ideas for you:
- Plan a day just for him. We like to take Corey to the movies, play some board games, and do his favorite takeout for dinner. It’s simple and it’s focused completely on him and the things he loves. Click here for some family board game ideas!
- Make a video. I make one each year interviewing the kids about Corey, along with a few pictures of them together. It’s so special to look back on and I always get so excited to share it with him.
- A Chatbooks Subscription is perfect for grandpa! We gave one to my mom for Mother’s Day, and they were both so excited. A digital picture frame is also always a win – my mom got this one from my sister.
- Have the kids make a coupon book. Include all the things he loves to do with them, plus a few “get out of X chore free” coupons. It’s sweet, free, and the kids will love coming up with ideas.
- Write a sweet note. In the end, most dads I know are just like us moms – they just want to be appreciated. Giving him a day of rest or some special gifts is great, but so is taking the time to find a cute card and writing a really special note inside. It’s sure to make him feel loved and I bet he’ll save it to re-read over and over.
