2025 Gift Guide: For the Home + Host Gifts

Holiday gift shopping time is here, and today I’m sharing some of my favorite gift ideas for the friend or family member who loves their home. These gifts are great for hostess gifts, gifts for that friend who seems to have everything for her home, or for your mom who is always begging you to come to her house for dinner.

2025 Gift Guide: For the Home

Lidded Charcuterie Board

I have (and love) this board and use it all the time! It’s perfect if you ever transport snack boards, and I love to use it to make things ahead of time. It’s pretty, super functional, and will get used all the time.

Melamine Mixing Bowl Set

I can’t get enough mixing and serving bowls in my house, and these are SO pretty! They come with lids so they double as a really great serving and storage container to take to parties, which is always a huge win.

Window-Mounted Bird Feeder

I got this for my dad’s birthday a while back, and it’s such a fun addition to any home! It took a while for the birds in their area to get used to the house and start to use it, but it’s so fun to be washing a dish and see a bird land in the feeder right in front of you!

Scalloped Marble Dish

I love a simple and pretty gift like this paired with a beautiful candle! It’s a versatile tray that they can use for the candle, for jewelry, or as a catchall in their entry. It’s one of those little things people often don’t buy themselves but that add a lot to a home!

Candle Warming Lamp

I’m pretty sure this guy has been on every gift guide for the home that I’ve made for years, but there’s a reason. They’re such a great gift to give – the smell and vibe of candles without worrying about the flame! I use mine all the time.

Brass + Glass Box

This is another gift that has made it on a few lists because I love that it’s unique and versatile! Pair it with a few printed photos to get them started on a collection of printed photos on their coffee table. Or, toss in a sweet note or two and they can make it a box with notes of special memories. Or, if you know they collect something (stamps, buttons, whatever!), it’s a great way to display that!

Bakeware Set

A brand new, matching bakeware set is something pretty much anyone who cooks or bakes at all will appreciate! I know I can’t be the only one still using my cookie sheets from college.

A Gorgeous Puzzle

You know I LOVE to frame puzzles – I think a frame-worthy puzzle would make a fantastic gift. Pair it with some Puzzle Saver if you think they might frame it, or just let it be a fun activity for them to do on a rainy day.

We got some ice cream dishes for our house last summer and they made every ice cream night so fun! Driveway Pickleball Set

I grabbed one of these for our family and we’ve used it constantly. It’s obviously not as good as the real thing, but we’ve had so much fun playing casual pickleball games after dinner when the weather is nice, and I think this would make a great fit for anyone with space for it!

Portable Warming Tray

I have wanted one of these for a while and actually got one for my mom for her birthday! They’re great for anyone who often brings food to other people’s houses, or who hosts at their home a lot! You can keep your food warm on the counter for hours during a party without using the stovetop!

This heirloom recipe book is so special for anyone who has a ton of recipes they’re known for making. It’s a gift for them to keep track of their favorites and for their family who will love having access to all of their favorites!

Digital Picture Frame

When I first started seeing digital photo frames all over the place, I thought they were a tad cheesy. And then I got one. I’m obsessed with ours and I have so much fun swapping the photos out monthly with seasonal family pictures!

I love that this options is affordable, not too big, and still beautiful! Who doesn’t love the sound of a record playing on a rainy afternoon?! Pair this with a record from their favorite artist and you’ll win the holidays for sure.
