2025 Gift Guide: Stocking Stuffer Ideas
Stocking stuffers are my favorite thing to shop for, so the stocking stuffer gift guide is always my very favorite to put together! Here are some fun and unique ideas to tuck into your kids’ stockings this year!
Stockings are the most fun. I absolutely love the challenge of finding fun and unique little trinkets that feel exciting but not junky. There are some things that go into our stockings every year (a little bit of candy, a pair of socks, a card game) but I always spend time looking for a handful of really unique things that I know will delight the kids.
I don’t know how it works in your family, but in our house stockings are the first thing we open on Christmas morning. They really set the tone for the day, so I always spend a little extra time making sure they feel special. Here are some of my go-to stocking stuffer ideas that are fun and fresh, affordable, and sure to delight your kiddos.
2025 Gift Guide: Stocking Stuffer Ideas

Wikki Stix
These were a stocking stuffer in our house a few years ago and the kids played with them nonstop for weeks. I remember absolutely loving these as a kid, and they’re still a ton of fun today.

Money Puzzle Box
A gift card is always a great idea for a stocking and I love these little puzzles! I’ve gifted these before and they’re always a huge hit, and make a gift card or a little cash feel even more exciting.

Candy Cane Candy
Corey learned early on in our relationship that there has to be one of these candy-cane shaped candy containers in every stocking or it isn’t Christmas. I grew up with them and they bring me so much joy. I’ll take M&Ms in mine, please and thank you.

Animal Face Masks
Kids are all about skincare these days, and these little face masks are totally age-appropriate and will make them feel so fancy and grown up!

Kanoodle Brain Teaser
I tucked this into Jackson’s stocking a few years ago and it was a huge hit. I love little puzzle games like this for kids, they’re so great to keep in the car or have in your purse for when they’re bored while you’re out running errands!

Moose Match Mayhem
We have this game and the kids love it so much. Card games are one of my favorite things to add to stockings, because it’s so fun to try them out together on Christmas morning! This one is sure to be a hit with the whole family.

Table Topics Cards
My kids absolutely love little conversation starter cards. We use them all the time at dinner! I’m going to tuck some fresh ones into a stocking this year, and I know they’ll be so excited.

Fidget Board
This is SUCH a huge hit with my kids. We love fidget toys around here and this one is so soothing that I even find myself playing with it sometimes. I grabbed one to keep in the car but I think we could use a few all over the house!

Guess In 10
Anytime we’re in the car with my parents my kids play their own version of this game nonstop with my mom. So, I grabbed this set of cards for Grant for Christmas last year and he loved it! Guessing games are such a simple way to keep kids occupied, and it’s always a good time.

Soda-Flavored Lip Smacker
I have never created a gift guide that did not include these because what even is a Christmas stocking without Doctor Pepper Lip Smackers?! It’s a CLASSIC and a huge hit absolutely every time.

Magic 8 Ball
The classics are classic for a reason, y’all. It’s always fun to see your kids playing with the things you loved to play with, and a Magic 8 ball is one that’ll bring everyone a little joy on Christmas morning.

LEGO Christmas Ornaments
It’s pretty much a guarantee that you’ll fine a miniature LEGO set in my kids’ stockings on Christmas morning, and I LOVE the little Christmas themed ones!

Liquid Pens
I know my kids can’t be the only ones who are obsessed with having their own pens, especially if they’re unique and special. These little bubble pens are so cute and I know they’ll have a blast with them!

Bath Potion
I don’t know if kids ever get too old for fun bath bubbles and additions, and this bath potion is so cute. I added some to my cart for Grant and I know he’s going to have the best time with it.

Classic Card Games
I already mentioned that I love gifting card games in stockings, and this set of 6 classic card games is perfect! Split it between your kids’ stockings and the whole family can have a blast on Christmas morning playing all of the old favorites.

Magnet Fidgets
My best friend texted me recently that she had grabbed these with the intention of putting them in stockings but her kids discovered them and were immediately obsessed. They’ve been a huge hit for her, so I’m gonna have to grab some for us!

Foldology Folding Game
My oldest has gotten really into origami in the last few years and I love gifting him origami sets and other folding games. He’d have a blast with this one!

Pizza Party Game
I stumbled on this game while I was researching stocking stuffer ideas and it looks so cute! We love super simple dice or card games and I think my kids would have a lot of fun with this one.

Glow in the Dark Stars
Jackson had these on his ceiling in the last house and he loved them so much. I also had them on my ceiling growing up! They’re so much fun and make a room feel so cozy.

Rainbow Scratch Paper
My kids are obsessed with this stuff and they have been for years. It’s always a big win in our house. Most years I tuck a little post-it sized set like this into their stockings!

Metallic Markers
Stockings are a great place to toss in a few fun pens or crayons. These shimmering metallic markers are so cool! I know my kids would love these. Plus, if you pair it with a small notebook for them to doodle in, it’s even better!
