A steam cleaner is a great tool for deep cleaning all sorts of spots in your home. Here’s a quick list of more than 50 ways to use a steam cleaner to get you started!

I love finding new tools that help me deep clean all of the various nooks and crevices in my home more quickly and easily. A steam cleaner is one of my favorite tools for a really good clean with minimal effort!
So, today, let’s take a little deep dive into how to use a steam cleaner to deep clean your home. And, if you need help seeing just how useful it can be, I’m also sharing more than 50 ways to use a steam cleaner around your house!
My Favorite Steam Cleaners for Deep Cleaning Your Home
I have two steam cleaners. One for bigger, more in-depth jobs, and a smaller one for a really quick clean.
- This Wagner steam cleaner is great for the big jobs. It can clean floors (I love using it in the bathroom!) and has a longer run time. If I’m doing a big cleaning session, this is the perfect one to pull out.
- The Bissell Steam Shot is perfect for a small, quick job. It’s handheld and really lightweight, and is better for when I’m not doing something like the entire bathroom. It’s also really good for things like grout lines, since it’s smaller and easier to maneuver!

If I could only keep one of them, I’d keep the Wagner one. It’s more versatile and can do more, which makes it my choice if you’re only going to have one! But, if you just want to try a steam cleaner out without a big financial commitment, the Steam Shot is a great (and really affordable) choice.
