I know, I know. It’s supposed to be just stuff from Craigslist.
But, I got a bit bored with Craigslist this week and I didn’t do much browsing. So instead of sharing Craigslist finds this week, I thought I’d share some stuff from one of my favorite stores in the world, West Elm. (I’m starting to sound like a walking West Elm ad with the dining room table talk and this in the same week, right? I promise I’ll shut up about them soon – I just can’t help it!)
A few days ago, West Elm announced their new arrivals for fall (Fall? Already? Really?) and I’m in love with them. There are so many things I want to buy, and I mentally spent about $5,000 as I was looking over all the new goodies.
Here are a few of my faves:
I think my jaw may have literally dropped open when I saw this bedding. It is absolutely gorgeous, and actually fits in perfectly with the color scheme Corey and I are planning on using in our master bedroom. He’s already agreed that he likes it, so here’s hoping I can talk him into actually letting me buy it.
I love our coffee table that Corey and I snagged off of Craigslist, but I kind of want to buy this guy, plop it in my living room, and spend all of my time hanging out on it. It looks so cozy and gorgeous and wonderful. I really like ottomans (ottomen?) as coffee tables, and this one is particularly stylish!
Corey and I have quite the collection of shower curtains between us – I can never seem to find one that I really like, and I get sick of them after a few months. Out of all the ones we have, there’s only one that I really still like, and it has a hair dye stain on it. Boo! Luckily, in our new house we’ll only have a need for one shower curtain, so I won’t have to worry too much about finding ones I love, and this one fits the bill perfectly. It’s simple, elegant, and not something I can see myself tiring of anytime soon!
Oh, good Lord, I want to bring this buffet into my house rightthissecond. I’ve been trying to find something similar on Craigslist for a while now, but they only pop up every once in a while. I usually immediately discount these types of pieces in actual furniture stores because I can usually find them way cheaper on Craigslist, but this guy is actually not much more than the mid-century style buffets I see on Craigslist! I’ll have to keep my eye on it (and hope it doesn’t go poof like our dining room table did!)
Corey and I have an upholstered headboard on our bed right now, and we both agree that we can never go back to anything else. We absolutely love having the cushy surface to rest our heads on when we’re watching television or reading in bed, and I love how they look! We’re planning on trying to reupholster the one we have now, and if we can’t we’ll probably end up building our own, but I would looooove to buy this beauty if we could!
Like I said earlier, if I was rich I would have spent an absolutely embarrassing amount of money here this week. I adore all the new fall products, and I’m hoping to snatch a few of them up!
Did you look at the new products West Elm released for the fall? What are your favorites?
(Note: I was obviously not paid or given anything in exchange for this post. West Elm doesn’t even know I exist. I just love ’em and felt the need to share!)
