The 15 Products You Loved the Most in 2023
I always like to take a minute at the end of each year to see what things I shared that resonated the most with you. It’s helpful to see what you love as I plan for the upcoming months, but it’s also just plain fun to see what you loved the most!
So, here are the top 15 products, according to what you bought the most of. They’re all things I use in my home on a day-to-day basis and love dearly, so let me just tell you now: you have great taste!
1. Paintable Outlet Cover
It’s zero surprise to me that these were the top thing you purchased this year! They’re cheap, they are a total game-changer in your home, and they solve a big problem in a really simple way. See the blog post I wrote about them here!
2. Kids’ Chore Chart
I discovered these over the summer and they were an instant hit in both your houses and mine. We use them as screen time checklists in the summer, and as chore charts the rest of the year. I’ve seen people use them for morning and evening routines, as well!
3. Two-Tier Basket Organizer
I am not exaggerating when I tell you I have seven of these in my house. SEVEN! I love them so much and I think they’re good for everything. Corey and I both have one under our vanities (I have two, actually), and we use them to organize medicine, too!
4. Brick Hooks
These are so great for hanging things on the outside of your home without having to drill! I have used them for multiple things on the front of our house and they work great. Currently, they’re holding up the garland around our front door!
5. Stuffed Animal Hammock
I grabbed this for Jackson’s room earlier this year and it’s been SUCH a game-changer for us. He loves stuffed animals and before, they were scattered all over his room. Now, they’re all contained in one place and it has helped so much with keeping his room clean. Plus, it’s really cute!
6. Peel & Stick Puzzle Saver and
7. Mod Podge Puzzle Saver
A LOT of you have decided to start framing puzzles with me and I can’t tell you how much joy it brings me. I absolutely love using beautiful framed puzzles as art – it’s such an easy DIY project! Both of the methods I shared in this post for preserving puzzles were top-selling items this year, so it’s safe to say it’s a popular project!
8. Bissell Spinwave
I have had this mop for four years now and I still love it with my entire heart. I hate (hate!) mopping, but this makes it so easy that it doesn’t even bother me anymore. It gets my floors so clean with minimal effort on my part. It’s a 10/10.
9. Rug Grippers
If you have rugs in your home that won’t stay put, these will fix the problem immediately! They’ve fixed even the slipperiest of rugs for me, and I love them so so much. They’re easy to apply, easy to adjust if needed, and they do NOT budge.
10. Candle Lamp
Ohhhh, how I love my candle lamp! It has a heating light bulb in it, and it melts the wax of your candle without actually burning it. Without exaggeration, I’ve had a candle burning in there for well over 100 hours and the level of the candle didn’t drop at all. No flame, amazing smelling house, and super cozy vibes. Doesn’t get any better!
11. Faux Ferns
These were the most popular item from my blog post on faux plants for your front porch, and y’all loved them so much I actually turned around and got them for my faux plant display out there. So, in a way, you influenced me! No matter who started it, these are great, and I love them!
12. Hat Rack
When we did our closet makeover, I really needed a way to organize my (not very small) baseball cap collection. This works so, so well and has been great for us all year long!
13. The Upside-Down Challenge
I LOVE that this made the list. It tells me y’all are all having a ton of fun with your kids. This game is silly and hilarious and so, so fun. You wear a pair of mirrored goggles that make everything appear upside down. Then, you have to complete timed challenges while wearing them. Things like drawing a stick figure, pouring water from one glass to another, or high fiving the person next to you. It’s a riot, and one of our favorite games!
14. Faux Cedar Topiary
These faux cedar trees look so realistic, and they’re perfect for Christmas or any other time. In fact, we have four on our front porch right now and Corey said he wants to keep them out year-round!
15. Faux Marble Countertop Kit
I’ve used this twice in our house, and it has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. We hated the counters in both of our full bathrooms, and this totally transformed both of them for only $200! It’s probably not a forever solution but it’s suuuch a great option that should last us for years and years. I can’t recommend this enough! See the kit in action here.
And there you have it! The 15 products y’all purchased more than anything else this year. I’ve gotta say, this list is top notch. Can’t wait to see what fun things we discover together in the next year!
