2025 Mother’s Day Gift Guide
Looking for the perfect gift for mom this Mother’s Day? I’ve got you covered! Here’s the 2025 Mother’s Day Gift Guide, complete with lots of simple but thoughtful gift ideas for moms.
Every year right around this time, I get a tad mushy – I think most moms do. I love looking back at old photos of my kids and watching videos from when they were tiny. Now that they’re getting so much bigger (Jackson heads to middle school this year!), it’s easy to get a little bit in my feelings about being a mom.
Of course, as I get older I also appreciate my own mom a little more every year. Basically, this time of year I just love to celebrate moms. Because being a mom is truly just so special.
As much as I love to celebrate the moms in my life, I’m also a big believer that a Mother’s Day gift doesn’t need to be anything elaborate or fancy. All most of us moms really want is a few hours to be left alone and maybe a handmade card.
But, of course, there’s not a mom on the planet who wouldn’t also love a little gift. So, every year I like to put together a quick little list of ideas for Mother’s Day gifts. Feel free to use the list to shop for your own mom, a friend who happens to be an awesome mom, or just send it off to your partner with a subtle “in case you need ideas”.
2025 Mother’s Day Gift Guide

1. Lidded Cutting Board
I absolutely love this cutting board for anytime we’re taking food somewhere. It’s perfect for charcuterie boards and appetizers and desserts. A staple in any kitchen, if you ask me.

2. Play Nine
This is one of our family’s favorite games, and I think it’s one of those games that anyone would love. It’s easy to learn, quick to play, and great for all ages. Any mom would love it!

3. The Coziest Socks
Everyone loves fuzzy socks, right?! These are so soft and they come in a pack of 5, so you can spread them around to a few of your favorite moms (including yourself!)

4. Pretty Earrings
90% of the time if you ask my mom what she wants for a gift, she’ll tell you she wants some pretty jewelry. She doesn’t need anything fancy or expensive, just something that makes her smile. These earrings are a classic!

5. An Eye Massager
I got this for Corey for Christmas a few years back, and he uses it all the time. It’s perfect for headaches or when you just want to take a really fantastic nap.

6. A Candle Warming Lamp
I think I’ve put one of these on every Mother’s Day gift guide I’ve ever put together. Truly. It’s something everyone loves and can use. I turn mine on almost daily!

7. A Rain Chain
Is there anything prettier to add to the outside of your house? It makes things so cozy, makes the prettiest sound, and she’ll think of you every single time it rains.

8. Faux Flowers
I absolutely love having some really high quality faux flowers sprinkled all over my house, and these faux tulips are the best. Pick your mom’s favorite flower and grab her a bouquet that will never die!

9. Self-Heating Coffee Mug
Perfect for the mom who can’t seem to get that cup of coffee in her body before the chaos sets in and it gets cold. And really, isn’t that all of us?!

10. A Digital Picture Frame
Truly, one of the absolute best gifts to gift anyone in your life who has even an ounce of sentimentality. I adore our digital picture frame, and my parents always get so excited when we add photos to theirs!

11. A Good Puzzle
Most moms love puzzles (raising my hand here!), and this one is so beautiful! Bonus points if you pair it with some puzzle glue so she can frame it when she’s done.

12. MAMA Necklace
This one would be particularly special for a new mom, but I think just about any mom would proudly wear this pretty necklace! It’s particularly perfect as a gift coming from the kids!

13. Heirloom Recipe Book
Does your mom or grandma have a zillion recipes that only she knows? This book is perfect for them. Promise the book won’t ever leave the family and you have an instant heirloom and a place to keep all of those top-secret recipes.

14. A Candle Tray
Pair this with a beautiful, luxurious candle and she’ll feel so fancy! She can also use it to hold her rings or jewelry, or any other small items. I love a beautiful, multipurpose gift that they’d probably never buy themselves!

15. A Foot Spa
Instant pedicure at home anytime she wants? Yes, please. Just make sure to tell her to hide it or else everyone in the family will steal it!

16. Jeopardy Puzzle Book
Puzzle books are so relaxing – I love my Sudoku one! This one is perfect for the mom who swears she could win if she could just get on the show.
A bonus idea for you – a few years ago, we signed up for a Chatbooks subscription for both my mom and my mother in law. Every year, we just renew it and write them a sweet card! They are constantly raving about how much they love it, and I have fun putting the books together each month.
