A Tour of Our Outdoor Kitchen
Earlier this week, I shared the details on how we assembled out new modular outdoor kitchen, and today I’m taking you on a detailed tour of all the appliances from Coyote Outdoor Living! As a reminder, this outdoor kitchen was gifted to me by RTA Outdoor Living.

I’m not gonna lie, I still get a little bit of a thrill every time I see a photo of my back patio with this gorgeous outdoor kitchen. It’s kind of hard to believe it’s really mine! I’ve had a lot of questions about our new Coyote grill and all of the appliances included in our modular outdoor kitchen. So, today I wanted to do a deep dive. Get ready for the full tour, my friends!
Full Outdoor Kitchen Tour
Just to recap if you missed it, we have this MOKS modular outdoor kitchen from RTA Outdoor Living, with a few modifications added. You can check out this post for a breakdown on things like assembly and cost. You can also see all of the available options right here.
The Pellet Grill
After much debate, we decided to go with the 36″ Coyote Pellet Grill for our outdoor kitchen. There are lots of different options, but Corey has big opinions when it comes to grilling. Over the years, we’ve had just about every type of grill imaginable. His favorite will always and forever be the pellet grill. I’ll admit, I still need to learn how to use it (I’m much more comfortable with a gas grill!). But, I do love the results so I was willing to go with whatever he wanted here.

The first thing I want to say about this grill, as the person in our house who cares most about aesthetics – it’s gorgeous. Our old pellet grill was huge and clunky and such an eyesore on the patio. This one looks fantastic and doesn’t make me cringe, so that alone is a major win for me.
Corey’s favorite features of the grill are that it can go up to 700 degrees and is great for smoking, baking, AND searing. The digital touch control panel is super easy to use, and even I (who consider myself a total grilling dummy) think I’ll be able to get the hang of using this.
Another huge plus is the sheer amount of space in here. Corey’s old grill was a bit bigger than this one so he was worried about having less grilling space, but there are some extra shelves on the inside and it’s truly organized so well. We’ll have no problem fitting everything we want on here!

We added a pellet storage drawer under the grill, and it might be one of my favorite features of the entire thing. With our old grill, we never really knew where to store the extra pellets and I can’t tell you how many times we ruined them because we didn’t properly put them away before a rain storm.
The Minifridge
When we were originally planning the initial design for our outdoor kitchen, we didn’t plan on an outdoor fridge. I mean, our actual refrigerator is right inside so it seemed a little redundant. But, the fridge was automatically included with the layout we chose so we decided to just roll with it. And, honestly? It was the right choice!
The fridge is outdoor rated and has a really durable stainless steel finish, so we don’t need to worry about longevity. It has the perfect amount of storage to keep extra drinks when we’re having a party. It’s even a great place to stash the meat we’ll be grilling if we run out of room in the main fridge!

On a personal note, I think my favorite thing about having a fridge out here is it means we don’t have to send people to the garage for drinks anymore! We have a garage refrigerator for extra storage and that’s typically where we keep sodas, sparkling water, and other drinks. But, our garage is a disaster 100% of the time, so I always find myself trying to stop anyone from going out there to grab a drink, which gets awkward. Now, we can just toss the drinks out here and it’s really easy for anyone to grab them!
The Pull-Out Trash Can
It’s not an appliance, but I’d be remiss if I didn’t address what might be my favorite feature of the entire outdoor kitchen. Yes, you know I’m a neat freak when I get this excited about a trash can, but here we are.
Having a pull-out trash can in our outdoor kitchen was one of the top requirements for me. I didn’t want to have to walk around the side of the house or walk back inside every time we need to throw something away. And, with all of the counter space we have for prep, this really can function as a full outdoor kitchen! Before, we had to do all of the prep work inside and just bring the meat out to grill. Now? We could cook an entire meal out here without really even dirtying up our actual kitchen at all! And, having a trash can out here is an integral part of that. So, it might seem silly but I love this little trash can with my whole heart.

The Sink + Storage
And finally, the outdoor sink and under-the-sink storage! This is another feature we hadn’t originally anticipated adding, but as we got talking about it, it just made sense. It will make things so much easier to not be constantly heading back inside to wash our hands! Plus, the outdoor kitchen shares a wall with our kitchen sink, so running plumbing should be super simple.
I do have a confession for you, though – we haven’t hooked the sink up yet! There are a few reasons for that (and I’ll get into them a different time), but I’m really excited to have the whole thing up and running soon.

One of my favorite things about the sink is it comes with both a cutting board (that fits into the top of the sink perfectly) and a cover! It also has a built-in soap dispenser, which is a must-have in any sink for me. We also added some storage under the sink, which is a HUGE bonus. Anytime I can add covered storage outside, I consider it a huge win!
And that, my friends, is the full outdoor kitchen tour!
It feels so good to finally have this setup completed and functional. We have been dreaming of an outdoor kitchen like this since we first moved into this house (and honestly, in our old houses too). So, it feels like such a major upgrade! I cannot wait for the weather to be more consistently warm so we can use it every single night.
