I love gift guide week. I always have so much fun browsing for gift ideas for all of the people I love, and I’m always so inspired by the ideas! This particular list is really fun for me because it’s a category that I think a lot of people have a really hard time with – shopping for your parents!
Of course, the items on this list don’t have to be for your parents. They could be for any adult couple or single person you know. Heck, they could be for yourself! But, as I was putting this little list together I was specifically thinking about things I know my own parents would love. In fact, I may just be doing some shopping for them off this very list. Shhhh, don’t tell them!
Let’s get right to it!
Gift Ideas for Parents
I have this little lamp and my parents are constantly commenting on how they need to get one for themselves. It adds such a cozy vibe and makes your candles last way longer!
I’m a huge fan of any memory-making gift, and this journal would quickly become a treasured family heirloom!
I’ve been eying these for myself and I know my parents would love it. Hang one on a window and get a close-up look at the birds anytime!
This is my parents’ favorite game right now and we play it with them all the time. It’s so much fun, and they’ll love playing with their friends, too.
Who DOESN’T want a foot and leg massager? I think this would be a great gift for literally anyone. Grab one of these for your dad…
…and one of these for your mom, and you’re guaranteed to be the favorite child! I’m all about gifts focused on relaxing!
If your parents love to garden, this will be such a great gift. It can be used as a kneeler or as a garden bench, and it’ll make any gardening job way easier.
I can picture a couple pulling this book out together over coffee on the front porch every morning, can’t you?!
This is one of our favorite games to play with my parents! It’s great for two, three, or four players, so they can play it on their date nights too.
This thing is such a cool tool to have around and parents LOVE cool gadgets! It holds a bazillion batteries, which means they’ll always have plenty for the noisy toys they’re always buying for your kids.
My parents actually introduced us to this game – it’s so much fun! It’s easy to learn, pretty quick to play, and they’ll love to bring it along on trips if they’re big on traveling, or over to a friends’ house.
The perfect splurge gift to give them both. We absolutely love this thing and I”m constantly trying to tell everyone I know that they need one. It’s our most-used appliance!
Why not grab them color-coordinating Stanleys so they can be like the cool kids?! My dad loves a good mug!
Perfect for the parent who likes plants but isn’t into having their own full-blown garden.
I’m always a huge fan of practical gifts that are really unique and thoughtful. This would be SO handy to have around, and I might need one myself.
Another thing I love to gift? Impractical, super-self-indulgent gifts…like this towel warmer that they’ll never buy for themselves!
If your parents are into traveling, they’ll love this book! They can dream up their next trip, and it’ll look beautiful on their coffee table.
Another splurge-worthy gift that’s perfect for anyone who gets distracted or busy before they can finish their cup of coffee. Which, really, is all of us, right?!
My parents love to try new foods and cool little gadgets, so this would be such a fun gift. Bonus points, I bet they’ll be happy to make you a sandwich next time you’re over!
A good weighted blanket is a must for me, and I love that this one is huge and perfect for sharing!
Wouldn’t it be so fun to grab a bottle of wine and head outside to look at the stars for an at-home date night?! I can see my parents doing this all the time.
And finally, another little “they’ll never buy it for themselves” gift – I love this picnic set, and I think a gift like this would be so special!
And there you have it. Twenty-five great gifts that would be perfect for your parents or any adult couple in your life!
