The Cutest Halloween Table Decor + Settings
Want to make your table feel a little more spooky and special this Halloween season? I’m sharing my favorite Halloween table decor, including the best Halloween table runners, plates, serving dishes, and more!
I love hosting and now that we’re finally starting to settle into our new house, I’m starting to think about how we can have family and friends over as often as possible. I feel like the fall season is one with so many hosting opportunities, and I’m always looking for ways to make any little gathering feel a bit more special. Even if we aren’t hosting and it’s just the four of us at home!
I was sitting around the other day thinking about how I could make a random weeknight dinner feel a little more special, and I came up with the idea for this post. A little roundup of my favorite Halloween table decor and settings, along with a peek at how I’d decorate our table for Halloween.
Now, here’s what you won’t find here – you won’t find a really complicated and elaborate Halloween table that looks like it belongs in a magazine spread. As fun as that is, it’s just not practical for me and my family. Instead, what you’ll find is some really simple ideas of small things you can add in to what you’ve already got to make your Halloween celebrations stand out a little bit. Plus, you might get some ideas for how to use the things that are already in your home!
Our Halloween Table

Here are a few things to keep in mind if you want to style a simple Halloween table of your own.
- Layer in disposable options: I rarely use disposable plates, but when we have big gatherings it can be so much easier. Plus, they always have the cutest options for seasonal plates that are disposable! I grabbed these skeleton plates and layered them in with our regular everyday plates and my favorite dollar store chargers. It feels a special and I only had to buy a cheap pack of plates!
- Use what you have: I shopped my house of my other Halloween decor to make this cute little table happen. Anything you’re already decorating with can be moved to the table and used as your Halloween table decor. For my table, I’ve got my DIY disco ball cauldron, paired with my favorite black candlestick holders and these cute black and white candles.
- Pick a color scheme: The easiest way to make a table setting look really cohesive with almost no effort is to pick a color scheme and stick to it. I went with black, white, and gold. I could add pretty much whatever I wanted and as long as it fell within the color scheme, it would go!
