2023 Gift Guide: Stocking Stuffers
I might have said this about another guide already, but ignore that because this is my FAVORITE gift guide to write every year!
I love stocking stuffers. Maybe it’s because my family has always taken stockings very seriously (we do them on Christmas Eve for the entire extended family and it’s a whole thing) or maybe it’s just because they’re just so much fun to shop for.
Either way, I’m a huge stocking stuffer fan. So, it should come as no surprise to you that this post is PACKED with ideas. And, if it’s not enough for you, I’ve got even more ideas linked at the bottom of this post. If you were struggling for ideas before, you won’t be after this. You’re welcome.
I know many people are only shopping for kid stocking stuffers, but that’s boring. Because grown-ups love stockings, too. Promise. So, if you don’t already do them for your partner or the other adults in your life, I recommend you give it a try! You won’t regret it. In this post, I’ve got ideas for kids and ideas for her (of course, that’s a very broad generalization and could easily apply to anyone!). If you want to see even MORE categories, click here to head to my Amazon storefront! I’ve got ideas for dudes, small games, pet stocking stuffers, and more!
Here we go!
Stocking Stuffer Ideas for Kids
Spoons
Yes, I know all you need for Spoons is some regular old spoons and a deck of cards, but isn’t this a fun way to introduce your kids to this (kinda dangerous) classic?!
Rainbow Scratch Note Cards
Jackson loves these things so much, and they’re a perfect stocking stuffer!
Slinky
This is a favorite of my kids. They never last long (they get so tangled!) but the joy it brings them while it lasts is worth it.
Pokemon Cards
I will never understand why kids love these so much but I don’t know a single kid who isn’t obsessed.
Karaoke Microphone
I know, it’ll drive you up the wall every day, but man it’s cute when they have a blast with a microphone.
Bath Crayons
When Jackson was a toddler we had these on hand at all times. They’re so cute and they have a blast in the tub with them!
Clue Card Game
I love tucking a fresh card game into the kids stockings every year. This one looks like a lot of fun!
Doodle Board
I LOVE gifting these to younger kids. It keeps them busy for a shocking amount of time, and doesn’t make a mess.
Mini Brands Mystery Box
Another thing I’ll never understand but I know kids are obsessed with. Insert shrug here.
Paintable Wooden Trucks
These are ALWAYS a hit in our house. I can’t tell you how many times we’ve given them in stockings or Easter baskets and the kids never get tired of them.
Hair Chalk
Temporary hair dye is always a win with kids.
Mini Golf Game
Kids love miniature things, and I think this would be so fun to play on Christmas morning! It is a choking hazard for smaller kiddos, so be aware of that!
Where’s Santa Seek & Find Book
I always love giving a few super Christmas-y themed gifts in the kids stockings, and it’s a bonus when it’s something that’ll keep them occupied a while while I clean up the chaos.
Make Your Own Diamond Keychain
My kids love any and every craft kit – and these little diamond ones are so fun!
Glow in the Dark Stars
ALWAYS a win. Always.
Origami Puzzle Game
Jackson has gotten really into origami lately, so I’ve added this to my cart for his stocking!
Dog Man Hot Dog Game
If your kid loves Dog Man (and it seems like most of them do), I can promise this’ll be a hit.
Animal Masks for Kids
Any kid will love getting to feel like a grown up and do a little spa mask! Perfect if they’ve had a hard day at school.
Pez Dispenser
A CLASSIC! I don’t even need to explain it.
Dry Erase Travel Pack
The PERFECT thing to keep them busy in the car. Stash it next to their carseat and the car complaining will be cut in half, at least.
Rotate & Slide Puzzle
I love giving a puzzle game! My kids always have a great time with them, and I love that it’s a sneaky way to stretch their brains.
Christmas Tattoos
I always slip some tattoos into stockings, goodie bags, and Easter baskets, and it never fails to be a huge hit.
Light Up Gloves
My kids are obsessed with gloves (maybe because it’s rarely cold enough to need them), so these would be so exciting!
Toy Parachutes
I gave these to the kids last year and they loved them! It’s particularly fun if you have a second story catwalk or overhang to drop them from!
Scented Christmas Pencils
Do I even need to explain it? Every kid wants some scented pencils, especially if Santa is on them.
Mini Strobe Light
This is a must for us this year. My kids will have a BLAST with it!
Lip Smacker
I put this one my stocking stuffer guide every single year, and every single year it’s the most-purchased thing on the list. It’s a classic for a reason.
Magic 8 Ball
Another classic. I mean, it’s kind of a staple of childhood.
Temporary Tattoo Markers
It might take a brave parent to gift this, but I think my kids would have SO MUCH FUN with it! It even comes with stencils.
Stacking Spinners
I can just picture my kids in their Christmas pajamas playing with these by the Christmas tree. Ordered!
Water Ring Toss Game
Do you remember these? I feel like I had a zillion of them as a kid, and I played with them for hours. I think they’d still be a hit!
Binoculars
Every kid wants a pair of binoculars. Every single one.
Bubbler Pens
Another thing I remember from my childhood that I know my kids would be thrilled to have!
Stocking Stuffer Ideas for Her
Gua Sha & Jade Roller Set
This little kit is SO GREAT for inflammation and puffiness in your face. I love mine, and I notice a huge difference when I am consistent about using it.
Burt’s Bees Lip Balm
I ask for lip balm in my stocking every year. It’s a no-brainer.
Dry Brush
Another thing that I LOVE using. It’s a great “treat yourself” daily routine, and she’ll love how her skin feels.
A Starbucks Gift Card
Need I say more?
Jump Rope
Because it’s a great workout and it’ll make her feel like a kid again.
Fuzzy Socks
You really can’t have too many fuzzy socks.
Coil Hair Ties
I’m always losing mine, so Corey gets me some every single year…and by the next year, they’re gone again.
Elf Multi-Stick
It’s good for just about everything – cheeks, eyelids, your lips! I use this regularly and love it.
Brazilian Bum Bum Cream
It’s a cult classic right now and everyone is talking about it! She’ll be excited to give it a try.
Claw Clips
We all used them in the 90’s and they’re back with a vengeance. And honestly? I’m not even mad about it.
Facial Spray
Another cult classic! This feels so good on your skin, and she’ll feel like she took a mini spa trip every time she tries it.
Candle Snuffer
Who doesn’t want to feel super fancy every time they need to snuff out a candle?!
Wick Trimmer
Pair this with the candle snuffer and she’ll really be feeling luxe. Also, chances are she’s not trimming her candle wicks and she really should be.
French Fry & Sauce Holder
I mean, this one doesn’t even need an explanation, does it?!
Hair Towel Set
This is so much better for your hair than a regular towel, and it’s one of those things she’ll probably never buy herself.
Ouai Bath Bombs
Perfect way to unwind after a long day! Pair it with a good book and a candle.
Travel Skincare Bag
These little bags are so cute (there are ones for makeup and hair too), and they’re perfect for anyone who travels regularly.
Jewelry Storage Box
I don’t know about you but my jewelry storage situation is a mess, so I’m always grateful for systems that help!
Eye Masks
These are hugely popular and for good reason. They help so much with puffiness and feel amazing on your face.
Lip Sleeping Mask
My bestie and I both got this for each other last year! It feels so great and makes a huge difference – there’s definitely a reason everyone is in love with it.
Scissors
I don’t know about you but I’m ALWAYS looking for scissors. They’re constantly running away on me and I never don’t need a new pair.
Stanley Camp Mug
Can’t have too many Stanley mugs, am I right?!
Old Fashioned Cocktail Kit
I love these little cocktail kits – they come with everything but the liquor for a specific drink. This is the Old Fashioned one, but they have a few different versions!
Jar Opener
I think everyone needs one of these in their kitchens. In fact, I might grab one and put it in my own stocking.
Conversation Cards
She’ll love the conversations these little cards spark around the dinner table!
Huggie Earrings
Who doesn’t want a fresh pair of really pretty earrings?
Mini Bluetooth Speaker
This is the tiniest speaker I’ve ever seen and I love it so much. This is perfect for that friend who is the life of the party – she can always have music with her tucked in her purse!
Food Dice
She’ll love you for eliminating that constant “where should we eat?” back and forth.
Ice Roller
THE BEST thing to have around for those super puffy face days. Everyone needs one.
Gold Initial Necklace
I have this set and I get more compliments on it than any other necklace I wear. You can wear them together or inividually!
Mug Warmer
If she’s a mom, she’ll love you forever for this.
Back Scratcher
It’s a little silly, but it’s honestly so useful to have around.
Car Cleaning Gel
So she can do a quick car clean while she waits in the school pickup line.
Whew! That’s a lot of ideas.
