The 10 Amazon Products You LOVE That Took Me By Surprise
On a day-to-day basis, I share a ton of random products and purchases that I love. Some days I’m sharing furniture or home decor, others I’m sharing favorite outfits, and sometimes I’m just sharing a random beauty or parenting product I found. And occasionally, a really random product I share will become really popular with y’all.
Recently, I was going back through some of the things that have been purchased the most in the last few months, and there were several standouts that made me go “really? Wow!” And I thought to myself, this would make a really interesting blog post.
So, here we are. A quick roundup of 10 products that y’all LOVED and purchased a ton of in the last 3 months that I never expected to be so popular! We’re gonna do this countdown style, building up to the most-popular surprising items. And, actually, they weren’t just the top three surprising products, they were the top three OVERALL products in the last 3 months! Talk about a surprise!
10 Amazon Products Y’all Love More Than I Expected
I bought these to pair with some sneakers I bought that didn’t have a ton of cushion, and y’all loved them. I still regularly get asked “what were those shoe inserts you like?!” and they’re consistently high up on the list of most-purchased items. I truly do love them and highly recommend them if you have a pair of shoes that need a little extra help!
I don’t share these often enough for how beloved they are when I do share them! I use these little cable ties all over my house and they’re so handy. They’re great if you have a long cord that you want to shorten a bit to stuff it behind a piece of furniture. They’re even better if you have some cords you are storing and don’t want them to get tangled! I use them in our junk drawer to help corral a lot of our charge cords, and I genuinely don’t know what I’d do without them!
8. Faux Fern
Am I surprised that a faux plant is this high on the list? Of course not. But I am a little surprised by this specific one! I grabbed this little guy for our front porch faux plant display, and it’s a really beautiful faux fern. It looks realistic, it drapes nicely, and it really nice and full. I’m thrilled to know so many of you have been happy with it too!
7. The Upside Down Challenge Game
I cackle with joy every time I see this little guy on my analytics because it’s such a fun game! My parents grabbed this from a thrift store and brought it over to play with the kids, and I can’t even begin to tell you how hard we laughed. It’s silly, it’s great for all ages, and you’re guaranteed to end in a fit of giggles. In fact, just writing this post makes me want to bust it out to play with the kids tonight!
6. Color WOW Dream Coat Frizz Spray
I grabbed this on Prime Day earlier this year because I had heard a lot about it and I was really curious. I’ve been so happy with it so far! I use it bi-weekly (about every 4th hair wash day) and it really does make a big difference in how manageable my hair is in the humidity. It’s become a ride-or-die product for me and I will absolutely continue to buy it over and over.
5. Monkey Hooks
This is another one I shouldn’t be too surprised by, but it brings a little jolt of surprised happiness to know I’ve made so many of you aware of this simple little product! This is my favorite way to hang pictures on the walls. It’s so quick and easy, requires zero tools, and it works. You can click here to see a video detailing how it works if you’re curious!
4. Interactive Chore Chart for Kids
This was a summer purchase for us, and we used it every single day. It was how we kept track of what out kids had done as they worked to “earn” their screen time every day, and it was the perfect easy-to-reuse visual. We still have them on the fridge and are currently using them to keep track of chores the kids have the opportunity to get paid for. It’s truly become an integral part of our day-to-day lives and y’all have really enjoyed using them too!
3. Peel & Stick Puzzle Saver and Frame for Puzzles
And now we enter into the top three products OVERALL for the last three months. And, if I’m being totally honest, they’re all three ones that surprised me! This one is perhaps the most surprising to me. When I first decided to frame a puzzle as art in my house, I figured I was probably doing something really niche that many people wouldn’t be interested in. But, y’all really responded to it and this easy puzzle saver (along with the frame for framing puzzles) has consistently been a top item ever since I shared it. I love knowing that so many of you also decided to frame a puzzle you love!
This is another product that I figured was a little niche! It isn’t exactly the most “stylish” way to store stuffed animals in your kiddo’s room, but I knew Jackson would love it. Turns out, many of you also thought your kids would love it too! It’s been the best addition to his room and has made stuffed animal storage so (so!) much easier for us. I know tons of you who have tried it out as well, and so many of you have told me how helpful it’s been in keeping your kids’ rooms organized and a little less cluttered!
And finally, the number one item of the last quarter (maybe the entire year? We’ll have to wait and see!) is my favorite paintable outlet cover. I mean, you know I love it – I wrote an entire blog post about it! These things have saved me more times than I can count, and I am so glad I found them. They make such a huge difference in rooms where I’ve painted the walls a dark color and don’t want the outlets to stick out. I am constantly recommending them to everyone I know. So, I guess, in the end, I shouldn’t be too surprised by their placement on this list!
And there you have it. Ten quick items that I was surprised to find y’all love just as much as I do!
I plan on circling back at the end of the year with a big ol’ post with the top items from the entire year (and not just the kind of surprising ones!), so be sure to stay tuned for that if you like this type of post!
